What Was
The Objective
I was tasked with creating a visual brand for a hypothetical Japanese izakaya “Izakaya Beyond”. Part of the visual brand was to create a set of six poster that would be placed through out the restaurant.
These posters are put in place to help express a more sleek and social environment that would appeal to the urban professionals they’re trying to attract. Geometric Patterns with sharp edges were used to add to the sleek feel. I used origami (the Japanese art of paper folding) as a core inspiration for my designs.
